Andress Surveying, LLC was established in the summer of 2015 by Ross and Lonnie Andress to provide quality land surveying, mapping and geospatial services throughout East Texas and the Trinity Valley. We offer a wide variety of land surveying services for the real estate, engineering, construction, and energy sectors.
Our staff is very experienced and well established in the Henderson and Navarro County areas, some having had a presence in the area for over 30 years. Using the latest Leica Geosystems GPS and Leica conventional equipment in the field, along with Carlson AutoCAD software in the office, we strive to provide the best service possible for our clients.
Our staff are lifelong Texans who have called this state home their entire lives, and we're proud to primarily serve Henderson, Navarro, Freestone, Hill, Anderson, Van Zandt, Kaufman, and Ellis counties. We also provide surveying services to surrounding lakes including Richland-Chambers Reservoir, Cedar Creek Lake, Lake Palestine, and Lake Athens.

Ross Andress has been working in the land surveying industry since 2005. He is a graduate of Athens High School (2006) and has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology Degree from the University of Texas at Tyler (2009). Ross passed his Texas Licensing exam in December of 2013.
He previously worked for firms in Tyler, Texas and Houston, Texas in the oil and gas industry as a project surveyor and project manager. As a project manager in Houston, Texas he oversaw the staking of over 350 wells within 80-plus drilling units in a multi-county area in the Eagle Ford Shale, as well as having managed a 60-mile pipeline gathering system.
Ross established Andress Surveying, LLC in June of 2015 with his father, Lonnie Andress, to provide land surveying and mapping services in the East Texas area. Since establishing Andress Surveying, he has overseen multiple field crews and office staff for boundary surveys from lot surveys to 5,000+ acre ranches, surveys of solar farms, and has served as an expert witness to advise on multiple boundary disputes. He is the current president of the Athens Texas Baseball Association, supports the Athens FC Soccer Club, and supports the Athens High School Booster Club.
Ross has two sons, Raylan and Reid. In his free time, he enjoys coaching and supporting his sons in their youth sports, fishing, hunting, and gardening.
Lonnie Andress has been working as a land surveyor for over 35 years. He established Andress Surveying, LLC with his son, Ross, and serves as the company's Vice President and Registered Agent.
Lonnie brings his vast knowledge and experience from past methods of surveying and utilizes them hand-in-hand with today's technology for efficiency and practicality.
Lonnie has been married to his wife, Dawn Andress, for 40 years and has 3 children and 6 grandchildren. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #12253 in Malakoff, Texas at Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Church.
